Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
The short version
Momsly stores everything — your account, your children's profiles, tracker logs, reminders, and photos — directly on your device using browser local storage. Momsly has no backend server, so we never receive, see, or store your family's data.
What's stored, and where
All data lives in your browser's local storage on the device you're using. If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, or switch devices without using Backup & Restore, that data is gone — we can't recover it, because we never had it.
Account information
Your name, email, and password are used only to create a local account on your device so Momsly can gate the app and drive your 7-day trial. Your password is transformed before storage and is never transmitted anywhere.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Momsly requests permission to show local browser notifications. These are generated and delivered entirely on your device.
Third-party payments
Upgrading to Lifetime Premium takes you to Gumroad, a third-party payment processor, in a new tab. Momsly does not receive your payment details — refer to Gumroad's own privacy policy for how they handle your information.
Children's data
Child profiles and tracker data you enter (name, date of birth, growth measurements, photos) are stored locally under your account for your own use and are never uploaded or shared by Momsly.
Your choices
- Export a full backup of your data at any time from Profile → Backup.
- Permanently delete all local data from Profile → Reset Data.
- Disable notifications at any time from Profile → Settings.
